sustainable design for longevity
Biota is one of the products of the Rethink Softly Project, hosted by Deberenn, which aims to rethink the way we produce soft seating furniture. Designed by Richard Hutten, it features a wooden frame and a seat made from waste materials from the tea industry. The circular design, a key element, drives the creation of Biota. The focus is on developing a design that can be easily refurbished or recycled. This simple, comfortable, and luxurious design is timeless, with a low carbon footprint. It shows that a highly comfortable design can be achieved without the use of plastic. Biota can be chosen with or without armrests, depending on the user’s needs.
